Will my Website be Hacked Or How can I prevent it?

Hi, Well everyone seems to worry about this one problem, about website hacking. And its true it is something we all should be worried about. We can see that hacking has become a popular method of breaking someone even if its just a difference or opinion between two groups. But its for real it happens and below are some points which will help you to make sure your website doesnt get hacked.

1. Use Strong Passwords

Make sure you use strong passwords for your websites. Strong passwords will always have special characters, Lowercase and Uppercase letters in them, so that it will be hard for hackers to find the right combination and break our credentials. Most people use simple passwords like their birthday info or just typing in 12345, all these are done just for ease of remembering them, but they do not understand the vulnerability of such passwords.

2. Make Sure you dont Share your credentials with anyone

Be it the cpanel detail of your server, or the credentials to your domain cpanel or the backend of the website, please make sure they are not shared with anyone. You may have to share it with your web developers, but you can always change them as soon as their tasks is completed.

3. Change Password Regularly

Make it a practise to change your credentials every month or every 3 months which is a very fine practise to safeguard the credentials. You must have noticed that Sites which involve financial transactions usually prompt us to change credentials of our account on regular intervals and their intension is also the same. To safeguard us from Hackers.
